Why?

Homelessness in America. It is one of our most serious and social problems.

Homelessness is caused by a lack of:

  • Affordable Housing
  • Unemployment
  • Poverty
  • Low Wages

Studies have shown that long-term happiness is less about a person’s circumstances than the activities that the person engages in. If we begin viewing the interior environment as dynamic and design spaces that facilitate desirable and meaningful activities, we can create a platform that will provide pleasure and meaning to its inhabitants contributing to their happiness and human flourishing. (Petermans,Pohlmeyer, 2014)

Curative Grace believes shaping our physical spaces impacts how we feel, react, aspire, and engage. They offer comfort, hope, and are the foundations for nurturing the growth and success of every individual. A professional assessment and employing the Positive Design Framework (Delft) will provide a platform for health and recovery, not to mention a beautiful place to live.

This can lead individuals toward:

Growth
  • Knowledge of Self
  • Increased Skill Set
  • Confidence to Face Challenges
Prosperity
  • Harmonious Relationships
  • Financial Independence
  • Increased Opportunities
Stability
  • Wellness
  • Consistent Behaviour
  • Competent Decision Making
